BADAS is continuing to develop a network of e-healthcare facilities throughout Bangladesh. It has its own medical colleges and has established the Bangladesh University of Health Sciences. BADAS is trying to develop human resources in health sector at higher level and also conducting researches in biomedical sciences. Unlike other global diabetic associations it provides clinical treatment in addition to research and create awareness on diabetes and other associated diseases.

BADAS charges a bit higher from the wealthier patients and provide free services to those who cannot pay. Immediately after formation of the Association BADAS started outdoor services in a small tin-shed establishment that has grown into a nation-wide organization consisting of around 108 health care and educational facilities.
